RAD Jewelry Gothenburg is a workshop and shop on Linnégatan 33. The first shop opened in 2001. We still work with the piece in front of us: repair, polishing, redesign and rings made with a goldsmith.
The work is done in the workshop, not sent away as an unnamed job. You can see the jewelry workshop, read about jewelry repair, or book an appointment when a piece needs to be looked at.
What the workshop does
RAD Jewelry Gothenburg takes in pieces that need repair, polishing or a new form. A ring that no longer fits, a chain that has opened or a stone that sits loose is looked at on the bench. Polishing is different from a repair: the shine can come back without a part being replaced.
Engagement and wedding rings can be chosen in the shop or made at a booked visit. Redesign uses gold and stones that are already in the piece. Gold authentication is a check of the gold, not a purchase and not a repair.
A visit starts with the piece itself. Bring it as you wear it, and say what has happened. We then say which job is reasonable. You can book an appointment, or read about jewelry repair, gold polishing, engagement rings and jewellery redesign.
